But if you had it running when you unplugged it, however, it would start immediately the next time you plugged it in. ![]() If you had it turned off when you unplugged it, it would just sit there the next time you plugged it in. ![]() When plugged in, if it simply resumed the same run state from when it was powered off, that would work. The Anova already remembers the temperature setpoint from when it was last used. This would presumably mean, however, that the device might start immediately every time you plugged it in, since it wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a power outage, and being plugged in again. It would be nice if the manufacturers gave users the option to configure the devices to restart automatically if there was a power loss. The Bluetooth version definitely doesn't restart automatically, I presume the WiFi one wouldn't either. ![]()
